We are currently looking for a female ESC volunteer (22–30 years old) to join our team at Fundació Catalunya Voluntària in Barcelona for 7months long project.
FCV is a youth-focused non-profit organisation based in the heart of Barcelona, working in the field of non-formal education, intercultural learning, and active participation. Through Erasmus+ and local initiatives, we create spaces where young people can grow, connect, and turn ideas into real projects.
We are looking for someone who doesn’t just want to “do a volunteering”, but truly wants to learn, explore, create, collaborate, and be part of an international environment and support youth through non formal education.
We are searching for a volunteer who:
– is interested in Erasmus+ projects and youth work
– is curious about NGOs and social impact
– enjoys communication, creativity, and storytelling
– is proactive, flexible and open to learning by doing
– wants to co-create activities and bring her own ideas to life
Main areas of involvement:
– social media and visual communication
– supporting international and local activities during all the stages of project development
– documenting projects and events
– assistance in daily office tasks
– development of the personal project
Practical setup:
The volunteering takes place in our office in the centre of Barcelona, with a schedule of 5 days per week, around 6 hours per day, combining teamwork, independent tasks, and learning moments.
This role offers a hands-on experience in how a non-profit organisation works, combining creativity, teamwork, and real responsibility in an international setting.
Important: this time we are specifically looking for a female volunteer to support gender balance within our team.
Accommodation:
The volunteer will have her own private room in a shared apartment with other women, who are not part of the organisation.
Starting date: ASAP, preferably before the end of April
The project includes travel reimbursement, food allowance, pocket money, and a public transport card, in line with ESC conditions .
