“Youth Greenpreneurs for sustainable future” was an youth exchange project financed by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ Program.
From July 2 to 8, 2024, 36 young people from seven different countries came together in Katowice, Poland, for the ‘Youth Greenpreneurs for a Sustainable Future’ youth exchange. This initiative not only allowed participants to deepen their understanding of sustainability but also helped them sharpen their skills for the professional world. They explored how to turn their eco-friendly passions and innovative ideas into successful green businesses. Alongside these entrepreneurial insights, participants enjoyed cultural evenings, engaging activities, and collaborative experiences, all while developing their language, social, and environmental awareness.

During the Youth Exchange, participants teamed up across international borders to develop green start-ups, The presentation is open to the public, allowing everyone to view the final results of hard work and innovative ideas. These presentations highlighted the innovative, eco-friendly business ideas that emerged from their collaborative efforts. Over the course of the program, each team progressed from brainstorming sustainable concepts to creating a company logo, designing an eco-conscious commercial, and assembling a dedicated team. In total, six environmentally-driven business concepts were generated.
On the last day, participants showcased their green ideas, captivating the audience with their creativity and confidently navigating challenging, insightful questions from the crowd.
In addition to the presentations, each team was responsible for creating a promotional video for their startup. This compilation brings together all the advertisements produced during the exchange, highlighting the innovative ideas and branding efforts of each eco-friendly business.
In summary, participants from each country group showcased the innovative green start-up concepts they developed during the youth exchange. Upon returning home, they shared their experiences with peers and local communities, spreading awareness about sustainable entrepreneurship. Several participants took the initiative to apply the skills and knowledge gained from the exchange, organizing entrepreneurial workshops in their local schools to inspire others in their communities.
