Topic objectives:
- Enhance Well-Being & Preparedness: Improve youth well-being and readiness through outdoor activities and practical skills.
- Nature Connection: Deepen youth’s connection to nature, encouraging environmental appreciation and sustainable practices.
- Emergency Preparedness: Teach youth to handle challenging situations confidently and make quick, informed decisions.
- First Aid Skills: Empower youth with life-saving first aid knowledge for effective emergency response.
- Navigation Skills: Strengthen youth’s ability to orient and navigate different environments.
- Physical & Mental Resilience: Build physical fitness, mental strength, and independence through outdoor activities.
Participant’s profile:
- Age: 18-25 years
- Inclusion: Open to all, including those with disabilities; no discrimination based on gender, origin, religion, political opinion, or sexual orientation.
- Physical Fitness: Required
- Language: Must communicate in English
- Motivation: Strong interest in the environment and the Youth Exchange theme
- Commitment: Willingness to apply learned skills in future work
- Qualities: Responsible, proactive, open to new experiences
- Availability: Must attend the entire project
The accommodation, 3 times meals and coffee breaks are 100% covered by Erasmus+ program regulations between 4th (check in after 15:00) and 13th (check out before 12:00) of October 2024.
The travel grant is provided according to according to the travel distance between the place of origin and the venue of the activity (Abovyan town, Armenia) by using the Distance Calculator supported by the European Commission.
