The project “Picture it – Build Your Future” is a project implemented from March 2023 to August 2024. This project was funded by the European Commission under the European Solidarity Corps Programme – Volunteering Projects .
The project “Picture it – Build Your Future” engaged 23 volunteers, with 12 participating in long-term and 4 in short-term projects, 5 volunteers were hosted in Poland. Activities abroad were implemented across Spain, Italy, Portugal, Egypt, France, Turkey and Greece.
In addition to the Fundacja Rozwoju Społeczeństwa Przedsiębiorczego as the coordinating organization, the following host organizations also cooperated in this project, as hosting organizations:
The project involved a series of international mobilities, during which our volunteers from Poland had the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills by serving local communities in the host countries. They engaged in initiatives supporting children and young people, including those from dysfunctional families, facing refugee challenges, or dealing with cultural and religious barriers. Their work also included supporting seniors and women with restricted rights. The volunteers utilized both formal and informal educational methods. From March 2023 to August 2024, the volunteers undertook various activities.
Regarding hosting mobilities, we welcomed 5 volunteers in Poland as part of this project. Feel free to check out the article about the hosting mobilities [HERE].
To wrap up their amazing project journey, some of our volunteers created a series of short videos capturing their activities and experiences. Each video was crafted independently, offering a unique glimpse into their ESC lives and the impact of their work.
