Picture it – Build New Future is another project coordinated by Fundacja Rozwoju Społeczeństwa Przedsiębiorczego. Together with the partner organization SOPRO (FB) – we invite you to take part in long-term volunteering in one of the amazing parts of Portugal, famous for it pottery. The mobility is organized by the Portuguese youth organization SOPRO which is looking for 2 volunteers.

Volunteer activities
Social activities:
- School Material Bank – support in the bank through the receipt of books coordinating volunteers in the campaign to collect school material, promotion and dissemination of theproject, innovative ideas for the development and improvement of the bank, this activity runs throughout the year;
- SOPRO Food Bank, organization in the Food Collection Campaign, separation, organization and delivery of baskets, this activity takes place throughout the year.
Organizing Events and trips.
- Organization of thematic days and weeks: 11 March European Day of Victims of Terrorism, 7 to 11 May Europe Week, 15 June World Youth Skills Day, 26 September European Day of Languages. The result will be a brochure with teaching and information about the theme of the day in Portuguese and polish.
- Organizing the Cultural Cuisine, culinary workshop and presentation of national Polish dish for participants. Teaching basic words of Polish vocabulary, traditional dances. Make a short video about the life of a young volunteer in Portugal.
- Work in SOPRO garden and environmental activities;
- Planting and taking care of the plants and trees of SOPRO Garden. Do the maintenance of the garden, removing plants, watering and organizing the space. Work in other environmental activities.
- Be available to be part of activities no planed.
Communication /PR/Promotion/Information activities;
- Interviews with locals and volunteers on topic of volunteering and inclusion, Erasmus+ and ESC Programmes in order to promote mobility and cooperation between EU countries and Portugal, enhance the role of youth workers and youth organizations, inspire youth to become active citizens. Creation of promoting video.
- Organize a campaign to raise awareness among local people and spread Europe about European values, Radicalism and Youth, Impacts on affected communities and other reflection activities on European themes.
- Contact with public entities of Barcelos, contact with the public of the event and companies and entities partners of SOPRO in Barcelos. Learn to work in a team, work around and solve problems and obstacles, get sponsorship, ways to promote events. Responsibilities and commitments made before the society in the organization of the event.
- Plan PR strategy, tactics and actions
- Prepare the content of message/advert/leaflet adapted to the recipient, announcements and plan changes
- Use correct multimedia materials, selected for a specific target group
- choose informational channel
- write articles, press releases

Host organization
“SOPRO – Solidarity and Promotion, was founded in 1996 by a group of young volunteer students from Colégio La Salle, in Barcelinhos, Barcelos, Portugal. These young people had a strong concern with the problems of poverty.
At national level, SOPRO works locally, in the Barcelos area, where it promotes Proximity Volunteering and develops awareness-raising actions on volunteering, among others. In Europe, SOPRO works with the Erasmus+ program and the European Solidarity Corps.
SOPRO is recognized as a Non-Governmental Organization for Development NGDO with the Statute of Public Utility Entity, Non-Profit, by the Camões IP Institute which is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Due to the context of its foundation, SOPRO is characterized as a Lasallian association that also supports the fulfillment of the mission of the Brothers of the Christian Schools of La Salle: “to promote the integral development of the person and the transformation of society through human and Christian education , solidary and participatory”. “
