Wolontariat ekologiczny w hiszpańskiej Murcji jest projektem realizowanym przez organizację Ecosystem Restoration Camp Altiplano z Hiszpanii.
Fundacja w ramach tego projektu pełni rolę organizacji wysyłającej. Projekt jest finansowany ze środków Komisji Europejskiej w ramach Programu Europejskiego Korpusu Solidarności.

Kilka słów o organizacji goszczącej
Ecosystem Restoration Camps is a Dutch non-profit foundation that works together with camps all over the world to restore ecological functionality, to build Research, Training and Innovation Centers for Ecological Restoration, to engage people in inquiry into ecological restoration, and train people in how to restore degraded lands in perpetuity.
Camp Altiplano is the first camp established, in La Junquera, an organic regenerative farm in the province of Murcia (Spain).
Zadania wolontariuszy
If you’re planning on joining us as a volunteer, you’ll be involved in a variety of activities, depending on the season. We usually work Monday to Friday, 6 hours a day. Here is a summary of the main seasonal tasks to give you an insight in what we do.
For example:
- Work in the garden, help with all harvesting and processing actions on the farm: grapes and wine making, apples and cider making, tomatoes and preserves making.
- Compost making and microorganisms reproduction.
- Open day organisation: we host one open day at La Junquera farm. You can help with the organisation of the day and meet a variety of people from the local network.
- Organise reforestation actions on the farm: species selection, organisation of the planting days, plants care, materials organisation (compost, mulching, microorganisms, maintenance of hoes and tools) and monitoring.
- Organising planting days with the local community
- Native species propagation: collect wild seeds for reforestation, acorns and other seeds, preparation of seeds for direct planting, cuttings of trees.
